What is the maximum number of victory points for all players combined in the game 'Settlers of Catan' if you play forever and don't stop at ten victory points?

The current edition has 5 victory point cards (I think) along with 4 points available for longest road and largest army. The tricky part comes when you count the settlements and cities though. The restriction that no settlement is placed next to another settlement only allows at most 27 buildings to be placed at one time (if 27 is achieved, every hex on the board has 3 buildings on it so we certainly can't do more, and I managed to get 27 on there). Of these, at most 4 per player can be a city. Therefore the best we can do by my count is 16 cities (32 points) 11 settlements (11 points), 1 longest road (2 points), 1 largest army (2 points), and 5 victory point cards (5 points) for a total of 52 points.
