Does the red triangle of Bass beer stand for anything or is it just decorative?

The red triangle was just a clear symbol used to identify to the illiterate beer drinker a bottle of Mr William Bass's India Pale Ale and distinguish it from other "inferior" beers on the market. May 16 04, 6:42 PM
