Cock-eyed is when you keep an eye out.

I was under the impression that the opposite of cross-eyed was walleyed. See your link.

I think I'd go with Hismissive on that one, although by that site's definition both cock-eyed and cross-eyed could be the same thing, as it says they look in different directions. My definition of wall-eyed is large and unfocusing, but both looking in the same direction.

But that is EXACTLY what I mean.

To me, walleyed is both eyes looking at the one direction, while cross and cock-eyed are looking in opposite directions.

True story, but I read your question to mean that opposite is the other extreme, in this case cross-eyes look inward, and cock-eyes look outward. Walleyes don't seem to look anywhere.
