Ah, must be the KLF! Responsible for some great 90s singles like "3AM Eternal" and "What time is love", the KLF were Bill Drummond and Jimmy Cauty, who sometimes stated that KLF stood for "Kopyright Liberation Front", although on occasions they said it stood for something else. The sheep thing was to do with the (92?) Brits, when they hatched a plan to cut up a dead sheep on stage and spray the audience with buckets of blood. (The charmers!) Extreme Noise Terror, who they were performing with, were the previously mentioned veggies, who soon put a stop to that plan. (Quite possibly a good idea) I seem to remember a machine gun loaded with blanks was sprayed at the audience instead. I'm not sure what genre they were credited with inventing, but is it Pure Trance? Hmmmm-this would make a great topic for a quiz!

Popsicle, that's a Yay LF Uh-huh uh-huh!
They started their career as the Justified Ancients of Mu Mu ("Mu" probably being a sample of the word "music"). They caused a storm in the music world with their first album which was critically acclaimed but sampled everything from Abba nd the Beatles to Jimmi Hendrix. Later, of course, they left music for the art world as the "K Foundation". They nailed a million pounds to a door and tried to sell it to the Tate Gallery for £750,000. The Tate said it was a security risk but Bill and Jimmy argued that the quarter of a million profit could have been used by the Tate to buy some "real" art.
They are said to have invented ambient house music.
