    On December 25, 1776 George Washington led a surprise attack that soundly defeated the Hessians in Trenton, New Jersey. How many American soldiers died in that victorious battle?

    		"The Battle of Trenton" December 26, 1776
    No Americans had been killed during the battle, although as mentioned previously, two may have died from exposure. There had been only a handful of men (4) wounded during the action.
