Question
#48267. Beckyel
asks:
When President Reagan's coffin was carried into the Presidential Library they played some music that sounded just like the National Anthem of England. However, the BBC said that it was something else. What was it and how is it different from the National Anthem?

It was "America" better known to millions of American school kids as "My country 'tis of thee."
Same melody as God Save the Queen, different lyrics.

And since I now can't get the tune out of my head, here's the lyrics:
My country 'tis of thee, sweet land of liberty, of thee I sing.
Land where my fathers died, land of the pilgrims' pride, from every mountainside, let freedom ring.
