How does one translate "ch" as in chocolate into the Greek alphabet?

    Question #48382. Asked by Dave920.

The nearest thing is the sound that Chi makes, but it's more like the Scottish CH in 'loch'. Theta and Delta also make the sort of sound, but Chi is the closest.

A few sites list six sets of consonant sounds in Greek and the English "ch" sound doesn't seem to be one of them.
In our alphabet, "chocolate" translates as "sokolata" and "chess" as "skaki" so "s" seems to be a substitute sound. I haven't been able to find how the Greeks write names like "Chile" or "Tchaikovsky".
