    Why are albinos so often connected with witchcraft and sorcery?

    		One reason for some of this may be that albinos are photosensitive and tend to stay in during the day and go out at nite. I'm sure that alone led to all sorts of tales, much like the werewolf legends.

    Among hillbillys in the southern US, albinos were felt to be good luck and people used to go out and capture them to change their luck. See the novel 'God's Little Acre'.
