Who was the radio sponsor of 'Mr. District Attorney', "defender of truth, guardian of our fundamental rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. And it shall be my duty, as District Attorney, not only to prosecute to the limit of the law, all persons accused of crime perpetrated within this county, but to defend with equal vigor the rights and priviledges of all its citizens"?

There was more than one.
This series originally began as a 15 minute serial. Between 04/03/39 and 06/16/39, 55 of these programs aired on NBC. Beginning on 06/27/39 the program was expanded to 30 minutes as a summer replacement for Bob Hope, ending 09/19/39. The Blue network continued the broadcasts from 10/01/39 to 04/07/40 with Pepsodent as the sponsor. A new sponsor, Vitalis for Bristol Myers, began a long NBC rum from 04/11/40 through 09/19/51. The last regular network run was over ABC from 09/28/51 to 06/13/52, again for Vitalis. The program was last heard as a syndicated broadcast from 1952 to 1953.
