I like this question a lot, as there's a variety of ways to answer it. I think you'd find more nicknames with fruit in them, such as Peaches Davis, Watermelon Man Baird, or Ty Cobb as The Georgia Peach. There's a slew of Berrys, about ten, from Charlie to Tom.
