You forgot to add "in a vacuum" as the speed of light varies in other mediums like glass or air. I'm guessing that c was used because this speed is a constant or possibly from the Latin for speed ("celeriter" or something like that). Can anybody find a site that explains why the c was chosen in this equation? Jul 19 04, 5:30 PM
