Where did the name "Quarrymen," the band John Lennon belonged to before The Beatles, originate?

    Question #49702. Asked by nyusha141200.

    robboy

The Quarrymen, founded by Lennon, McCartney and Harrison, came from the Quarry Bank School in Liverpool. Excellent site for the history of that time, around 1957, and the evolution of the Beatles.
