    Just watched the movie "Ned Kelly" and was left wondering about something. After Ned is caught, there is a flashback to Ned as a boy receiving a green sash. What was the significance of the sash?

    the sash was given to him for saving someone's life. he wears it to remember that he had done both of saving lives and taking them.

    Thank you Nat. Light bulb goes on relating the sash to the opening scene where Ned saved another boy from drowning, doh!
