    What does "lingo" mean?

    It’s to do with the tongue.
    As in talking
    As in linguistics
    As in bi-lingual.

    Dictionary:
    A characteristic language of a particular group (as among thieves); "they don't speak our lingo".

    In English, it means "language" or "professional dialect"--e.g., "I have a 1.5 Gigahertz processor and a 20 gigabyte hard drive" is Computer lingo. In Japanese, "lingo" means "apple".
