As far as I know, Ankh-Morpork is only a city. Does anyone know the country or continent where it is located?

Ankh-Morpork is a fictional city-state which features in Terry Pratchett's Discworld series of fantasy novels. As cities go, it is on the far side of corrupt and polluted, and is subject to outbreaks of comedic violence and brou-ha-ha on a fairly regular basis. It is home to the Unseen University, a centre of magical learning.
Ankh-Morpork is also the mercantile capital of the Disc, and the books give an excellent flavour of a "working" quasi-medieval city. Even when it is under attack from a dragon, the vegetable carts still have to come in.

Can't remember any continent being named for it. The ones that are named are XXXX and the Counterweight Continent. The geography of Discworld seems a bit fluid at times, anyway, and places take on slightly different characteristics at times. Klatch varies between Indian and North African in style, and the Kingdom of Lancre varies in size. The discrepancies in the history of Discworld are due to the patchwork that the History Monks had to do, but the variable geography has yet to be explained.
