Has anyone ever died from an LSD overdose?

If you look at a few websites, they will tell you that it is almost impossible to overdose on LSD, and will cite recorded instances of people accidentally taking monumental overdoses (hundreds of doses at once) without fatal effects. However, that ignores the fact that common symptoms of an LSD trip, like a racing heartbeat and anxiety attacks, are of themselves capable of resulting in death. And of course, who knows how many people have been killed making disastrous errors of judgement whilst they have been hallucinating. Sep 02 04, 5:52 AM
