Billy Bragg in 1988. He samg "She's leaving Home" whilst Wet Wet Wet sang "With A Little Help From My Friends". I think it was for Childline charity if I recall.

Yay, Popsicle! He sang it with somebody called Cara Tivey. After a disastrous performance by the Barking Balladeer on "Top of the Pops", complete with the sound of a workman's crashing ladder, it shortly fell out of the charts.
