That's the one. Invaded at the invitation of the barons, got excommunicated in the process, and then inconveniently John died and the barons switched to supporting Henry III. One of those what-if situations.... Went on to become Louis VIII of France and fathered Louis IX (Saint Louis) which I suppose served him right... Sep 08 04, 11:17 AM
