Rams for Colts
In July, 1972, the Colts came under new ownership as Robert Irsay, in a rather bizarre trade indeed, acquired the club from Carroll Rosenbloom in exchange for the Los Angeles Rams as the two owners swapped franchises. Joe Thomas was named vice president and general manager. http://www.ravensnests.com/History/history5.htm
