In 1962 he and lover Kenneth Halliwell were imprisoned for six months for defacing books in a public library, removing hundreds of pictures to decorate their apartment, and pasting in false jacket blurbs and sexually suggestive images.

Yay Peasy. What no loot? These were the happier days before 1967 when Halliwell, jealous of Orton's talent, blugeoned him to death with a hammer before taking an overdose himself.
