When a ship, such as the Titanic, sinks and then is discovered in the sea, why is it there are never any bodies or remains in the ship?

A lot of the time there actually are. When a ship goes down, its crew and supplies go down with it. In some cases the bodies and food disintigrate into the water or are eaten away by the many species that populate the water. Most of the metal survives.
In 1999 a submarine that had been lost for about 30 years - the Israeli sub DAKAR - was found at the bottom of the Mediterranian off the coast of Turkey. And along with the sub were the remains of her entire crew of 66.

When the wreck of a warship is found it's often designated an official war cemetery by the country that lost it.
