What is the difference between dog fleas and cat fleas?

They are basically different species of flea that have evolved a preference for certain animals, but aren't exactly that fussy. The poultry flea is the least discriminating and will bother anyone. Otherwise they're almost the same. Sep 20 04, 6:04 PM
