    Question #51304. Poorly asks:

Who destroys Isengard and what does Mordor mean in "The Lord of the Rings"?

    Linus_337

With regard to part one of the question, Isengard is attacked and conquered by the Ents.

Well, for the other part about "Mordor," sort of depends upon what you mean. For instance, Mordor in Sindarin means "black land," but I'm sure there are other translations, as there are many meanings for places/people/things in LOTR, unfortunately I only know the one I gave you.

The answer I think you're looking for is Mordor is a place in Middle-Earth where Mt.Doom is loacted and where Sam and Frodo need to go to destroy the Ring of Power.
