What is the Devils Tower in Wyoming?

    Question #51316. Asked by shawn888. (Sep 29 04 12:13 AM)

    McGruff

Devils Tower is a nearly vertical monolith that rises 1,267 feet above the meandering Belle Fourche River. Once hidden below the earth's surface, erosion has stripped away the softer rock layers revealing Devils Tower.
