The song "Martha My Dear" by the Beatles was a dedication to Paul's dog, but who or what was the song "Dear Prudence" a reference to, if any?

    Question #51419. Asked by doomed.

    MaggieG 5

Prudence was Prudence Farrow, younger sister of Mia Farrow who attended the same meditation course in India as the Beatles. The song was a plea to her to come out from her excessively long periods of meditation and relax with the rest of the group.

I found that in my book "A Hard Day's Write" which tells the stories behind all of their songs.

The next verse starts 'the wind blows high the wind blows low', and the chorus includes 'going faster, going faster' Has anyone got all the words, title and possible recording?
