Is the game of conkers widely played by children in countries outside the UK?

Question #51479. Asked by gmackematix. (Oct 06 04 12:38 AM)

    TabbyTom

Up in Carlisle, one headmaster has found a way of minimizing the danger by providing goggles for kids who want to play.

I saw it on BBC TV news yesterday.

Wher was the first annual Pro Football Hall of Fame Game played, on which date was it played, which teams played, and what was the final score?

Accrington Stanley resigned from Division 4 of the Football League on Monday 6th March 1962 (see Q# 21933). Their last match, played on Saturday 3rd March 1962, was their 33rd game for the 1961-62 season, and their W-D-L 5-8-20 (goals 19-60) record was expunged. I've hit a brick wall trying to locate their next game, the 34th game of the 46 game season. What was their next game (aka which club got the bye)?
