This is like 'Round Britain quiz...'. Well, though it was supposed to mean 'Flemish or Gypsy', the word flamenco now also means flamingo in Spanish, though it used to be flamengo. So as it obviously confused too many people Spanish naturally must have shifted from the word with the g to the one with the c, actually making reality follow the myth!
