She has appeared in "The Sound of Music" and has done a voice for one of the more recent animated Disney movies. However, much of her work in the movies has famously gone uncredited. Who is she?

I'm glad you asked this question because it brought me back a dozen or so years ago when I saw My Fair Lady and West Side Story on cable in the same week. Audrey Hepburn and Natalie Wood both seemed to have the same singing voice and I asked my father about it only to find out that the voice singing was actually...
Marni Nixon
Her singing is in the Disney movie Mulan. She played Sister Sophia in The Sound of Music.

A good yay there, Whitecity, for a fairly full answer. Apparently Marni, sometimes known as "The Voice of Hollywood", was 74 in February this year. She was the voice of Grandmother Fe in Mulan.
