    This year who grew Britain's largest pumpkin and how does its weight compare with the world record largest pumpkin?

    		Seemingly, it is Joe Hallam, a 13 year old boy who grew a 700 pound pumpkin nourishing it on beer, but it weighs almost half of the world's largest pumpkin weighing 1446 pound grown by Al Eaton of Canada!

    		Partial yay, Ranan.
    The British record has improved but is still nowhere near that world record. If I saw a 100 stone pumpkin I'd be spooked, carved or not!
    Doesn't Al Eaton sound amusingly like "all eaten"? Unlikely in the circumstances.
