You will be familiar with the nursery rhyme "Sing a Song of Sixpence" which finishes with, "along came a blackbird and pecked off her nose." Now, I vaguely remember another verse which ends, "and popped it on again," referring, I think, to the maid's nose. Can anyone remember that verse?

    Question #52105. Asked by Valf.

It's just a two line continuation of the second verse, and goes - "and down came a jenny wren, and popped it on again".

    I know it as
    "She made such a commotion,
    That little Jenny Wren
    Flew down into the garden
    And popped it on again".
