The ascent of Snowdon is made much easier by a set of steps leading to the summit as well as a railway. What is the world's highest mountain to have such a set of steps or railway to the summit?

Snowdon doesn't have any paths which have steps all the way. There are several recognised paths, all of which have some steps at various sections. Mount Kinabalu in Sabah at 4,095 metres is probably the mountain with the most steps, although some of them are made of wood.
