    well, it depends on what you call largest.
    The atlas moth has a wingspan of 6 inches and has the largest wing area of all insects.
    The goliath beetle is the heaviest... weighing 3 1/2 oz. ... and are 6 in long.
    (I must admit I cheated a little... had to search for the numbers :-X )
