Is there a word for entering a search in Google and getting no pages returned? If not, has anyone got any good suggestions?

    Question #52400. Asked by s2boy. (Nov 14 04 12:39 PM)

The word for getting one perfect hit from Google is Googlewhack, and several of these have been admirably described in Dave Gorman's book, entitled, surprisingly - "Dave Gorman's Googlewhack Adventure".
My suggestion for not getting any hits at all would be to type your words more carefully. It often happens to me and it's usually because I've mistyped something.

Usually, my reason for getting no pages matching my search is being too specific.
On the other hand, if I don't put some words together in quotes, I'm likely to get no end of tripe that I don't want.

As for suggesting an answer to the question, how about "googleblanking"?

I like using the Google search engine because it doesn't have flashing adverts etc. However, how do the creators of Google make money from the site?

Which one gets a higher hit count - search Google for "Cuil" or search Cuil for "Google"?

Perhaps I'm missing something here, but lately when I've been doing Google searches, I've been coming across this word 'blog'. I haven't the faintest idea what it means, but it must be popular, because it seems to come up on almost every search I've done just recently. Any ideas?
