This sounds funny, but it's trivia and has a correct answer. How many balloons does it take to light a light bulb temporarily?

Question #52636. Asked by kaylofgorons. (Nov 24 04 8:19 AM)

OK sensible answer - if you get a good static charge on a single inflated balloon and touch it to the metal contact on a fluorescent bulb there ought to be enough kick in it to make the bulb glow softly for a short while. I don't think you could get an incandescent bulb to work though.

Bingo Stew! Yay! This is a demonstration on how fluorescent light bulbs are cheaper to run than your incandescent. (checking my spelling by copying yours!) So technically, it only takes one balloon.
