Their portraits seem to lack eyebrows.

They always had them in my history books. Sometimes they were purple or green though, because I didn't always have the right colours in my pencil case.

I was just looking at some portraits on the net and some have eyebrows and some don't seem to have much, so I don't know if they actually didn't have them or if it was a popular way or painting at the time.

As the most famous person to be painted without eyebrows is the Mona Lisa, I'm guessing it was high fashion not to have them in the Renaissance era.
