the first seated toilet was in India! I never knew they knew the guy that invented them, but they were used by the Harappa civilization in west India.

When they manage to translate all the inscriptions in Harappa and Mohenjo-Daro (and others), they still probably won't find the answer to this one! Things like that didn't get recorded, unless it was a great leader that did it or claimed to have done it.
