The wind in itself has no healing properties, but it rids Capetown of the unhealthy climatic conditions, such as heat, high humidity and smog, which can exacerbate diseases. It is a south easterly wind which blows onshore from the ocean and is therefore much cooler and fresher. Dec 13 04, 2:23 AM
