Sorry SM, I have never attended a knighting nor do I know the formalities. I guess that would be a bit difficult. I have just watched the the movie "The Life and Death of Peter Sellers" and highly recommend it. If Mick Jagger earned Knighthood then Peter Sellers should have received it too, in my lowly regular person opinion.

No need to apologise rlaj. I agree that he should have been honoured even it had only been just for his contribution to the Goon Show
