    		The female FBI agent Clarece tells of a dream she had as a child that consisted of lambs.

    		I thought it had to do with her sleeping and hearing her uncle slaughtering the lambs. That's why shy ran away and she still heard their silent screams as she slept.

    		I think it also refers to the slaughter of the innocents. In Italian, the title translates as the silence of the innocents.
