    Is it a crime in any country to drop loose change from the top of very tall buildings?

    Local ordinances cover that and in cities with popular tourist attractions such as the Empire State Bldg, Space Needle, etc. there are signs that say you will be prosecuted if they catch you at it. And the video cameras will catch you.

    The same is true of the Washington Monument in Washington, DC. If a coin is dropped from that height, and hits someone on the top of their head, it can do serious damage.
