How many ratings for movies are there, and what do they mean? You may also tell me the pornography ratings, if you wish.

There are no 'pornography' ratings, except those in your mind. The MPA sets these ratings, and the strongest material is limited to those 17 and younger.

I'd just like to add one more thing to Buck's list. Between R and XXX is NC-17. Kids can see R movies if they are with an adult. You have to be over 17 to see NC-17 movies.

In Australia we have:
G-For all viewers
PG-Parental Guidance for under 15
M-Not recommended for under 15
MA-Under 15 to be accompanied by parent or guardian
R-Restricted to 18 and over
X-Restricted. Sexually explicit for 18 plus only.
We have no legal rating higher than X-if they put XXX on the film it would just be to promote it to people who like their dirty films REALLY dirty.
