"The most-published playwright is Shakespeare. The second is Neil Simon. It's sort of hard to believe (at least for this writer) that Simon follows Shakespeare in terms of published works, but he does. Simon has produced more than 16 plays, including some that you've probably heard of, such as "The Odd Couple" and "Brighton Beach Memoirs." Sixteen plays doesn't sound like a lot, but Simon has done a few other things as well.
