    Which country has the highest rate of suicide?

    		Suicide figures are often unreliable due to them being recorded as accidents to avoid upset to the families concerned. They also vary from year to year.
    Popular wisdom (which is rarely right) says it is Sweden (rather than Norway home of the lemming or Japan, home of hara kiri).
    The BBC panel game "QI" (which is often right) says it is Lithuania.
    An EU quiz I read says it was Hungary in 1997 but the rate was dropping. So who knows?
