asks:
At what temperature should you store certain foods such as bananas? It is cold in my room, and I wonder if this affects the food in a bad way?

Unless your room is 38 degrees (about 3 or 4 C.), I'd advise keeping bananas out on the kitchen counter till they're fully ripe. They can then be refrigerated for another few days, which will turn the skin brown, but the meat will be just dandy.
