On which side of the road did the Ancient Romans tend to drive? As it's a 50-50 choice, a supporting reference is needed.

Almost everywhere drove on the left until Napoleon upset things, but:

Peasy gets the yay for the reference which is where I got the info from in the first place.
It's an excellent site which answers many questions about the "rule of the road" including historical reasons, a list of countries, what happens at borders where the rule changes, which rule is followed by horses, boats, planes and so on.
