If you stand with your back to the wind in which direction is the low pressure area?

Question #54688. Asked by welllady. (Feb 01 05 3:48 PM)

In the Northern Hemisphere, if you stand with your back to the wind, the pressure on your left is lower than that on you right.
For Peasy, Shady, Kainantu and other antipodeans, the situation is reversed.
    It's called Buys Ballot's Law.
