    What nations, besides the USA, celebrate the Groundhog Day holiday?

    It appears they look at groundhogs to predict the weather in Canada, too.
    And there are several sites in the US beside Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania where they start the Candlemas cross-quarter day in this way.

    I was interested to see that the Romans celebrated the date in the same way with hedgehogs rather than groundhogs.
    I was also disappointed to see that I had just missed the pagan festival of Imbolc.
