    Is it possible for our sun to go nova? If so, when?

    		If you mean nova as in Supernova then no, it's too small.

    		Nemisis has the most scientific support, the sun will probaly expand into a red giant rather than go nova. The latest calculations say that the earth has been habitable for 4.5 billon years and has about half a billion years left.
