Chickamauga is the oldest and largest National Military Park in the United States.
Often called the second largest battle of the Civil War, there were over 34,000 casualties in two days of fighting. The southern victory provided a glimmer of hope for the Confederacy and made Chattanooga the center of attention for both governments from September to late November, 1863.

I think it may have been Second Bull Run (Manassas) June 25 - July 1, 1862 with about 117,000 troops, 54,000 Confederate and 63,000 Union.
(The largest one leading up to Gettysburg, that is.)
