What links "Odds fish, what an ugly fellow I am" and "Warts and All"?

That's what I thought Tabby. Otherwise, possibly the link might be the artist Lely. Cromwell is supposed to have uttered his famous quote when commissioning the great man to paint his portrait. I don't know the circumstances of Charles II's quote or if Lely also painted him but it seems likely - he was THE court portrait painter at the time. Feb 22 05, 6:34 AM

Who coined the phrase "warts and all?" 'Yes, Madam, I am drunk, but in the morning I shall be sober and you will still be ugly.' Who said this classic put-down line and to whom was it said? I am pretty sure it starts a chapter, and goes,"And it rained a [something silly,] and it rained a [something else silly] and it rained [some silly things.] I thought it would be in "So Long And Thanks for All The Fish," since it has a rain theme, but I'm not seeing it there. Help! The other day I was watching TV and they showed a white cockroach. It wasn't ugly at all. I want to show this type of roach to my mom but I can't find it in the web. Can anyone help?
